Channel Descriptions

Each QRADS2 channel has a different, yet related, workstream. TCG’s expertise and capabilities in data analysis and analytics, database architecture and management, systems architecture and design, application and web development, as well as program and project management, led SEC to award us:

Channel 2: Analytical Tool Development

In this channel, we develop and implement analytical software and tools to support SEC research, reporting, investigations, and examinations.

Channel 3: Database Development and Maintenance

In Channel 3, we provide technical expertise in database management to assist in designing and maintaining SEC data sets. We aid SEC in managing data acquisition, conversion, and interfaces.

Channel 4: Analytical Reports and Data Analyses

For this requirement, we support analytical projects, data set design and implementation, data governance, and operational maintenance procedures for various projects.

Channel 5: Analytical Methods and Support

Here, we aid in developing and writing project-specific programs to process data sets using modern econometrics methods, statistical modeling techniques, machine learning, and statistical processes. We assist in analyzing and interpreting statistical data, computing supporting metrics, and producing and maintaining models or other analytical products.

Channel 1: External Research Support and Technical Expertise (Subcontractor)

TCG acts as a subcontractor under this channel, collaborating with our prime to provide robust subject matter expertise in financial markets, securities, and related financial data analyses. We offer an understanding of financial data, databases, technical applications, and operational requirements, leveraging this knowledge to support SEC analyses and ensure repeatable results in the SEC analytical development environment.
